About ShortForm Kit

ShortForm Kit is a small, independent site of practical guides to AI tools for short-form video: captions, subtitles, voiceovers and clipping for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Who writes it

I'm Jun Tang, a short-form video editor in Shanghai. I edit 9:16 clips, captions and English/Chinese subtitles for creators and brands, and I use AI tools every day in that work. This site is where I write down what I've learned — what each tool really costs, what the free plans really include, and when you don't need to pay at all. How guides are written

• Prices and limits are checked on the official pricing page on the date shown at the top of each guide. Tools change their plans often, so always confirm on the vendor's page before paying.
• Promotions aren't quoted as prices. Time-limited discounts expire; I list the regular price and mention when a promo was running.
• If I can't verify something, I say so rather than guess.
• Free alternatives are mentioned whenever they're genuinely good enough.
